We can refurbish your old concrete sectional garage - no matter what age or condition.

Maybe you just need a replacement roof - getting rid of the corrugated asbestos - is all you require, or maybe you need a full refurbishment.  VSF will take care of every aspect from the initial order to technical survey through to installation, which normally takes only one day. You don't even need to empty your garage - just leave it to us.

Q: Why do you use "galvanised steel" as replacements for existing asbestos roofs?

Because they are maintenance free, do not rust and are manufactured to size, i.e. 1 length, no joints.  They are fitted with a felt backing to eliminate the possibility of condensation.

Q: How long from initial order to completion of the garage refurbishments?

Once an order has been placed, installation dates are approximately 4-6 weeks later. The installation of the Garage Roofs normally take approximately 3/4 of a day and full refurbishments approximately 1 full day. If Garage doors are ordered, these will follow between 14-21 days after the refurbishment.

Q: What are the main dangers of asbestos?

Asbestos is proven to cause many asbestos related illnesses and cancers and if not dealt with and removed using strict health and safety guidelines, could prove fatal.

Q: If I have any problems post-installation, what options do I have?

All products fitted come with a comprehensive guarantee ranging from 2 years for Garage doors, 10 years for all UPVC products and 25 years guarantee for the Garage Roof.

Q: Do I need to empty my garage?

No, our installers will move any items that are in their way.  After installation they will hoover surfaces of items left in the garage using a special H type vacuum designed especially for asbestos removal.

Q: Would you replace just fascia boards or windows?

No, we only provide this service when a roof is ordered as providing just the fascias or windows would not be cost effective for VSF or most importantly YOU as a customer.
