Health & Safety

All fitting teams are regularly engaged in asbestos awareness, in which they are demonstrated, explained and are given necessary Health & Safety literature on how to deal with asbestos from removal, packaging and disposal. They also wear safety clothing including respiratory masks, protective clothing and correct footwear. We take the safety and health of our staff seriously and encourage to use all the advice given. (Please note: All of our staff hold a valid asbestos awareness certificate & waste carriers licenses. See the pdf's below)

Not only the staff are our main concern, but we also take our customers' and our customers' guests health and safety seriously.  During the removal of your asbestos roof sheets, a 5 metre area will be cordonned off with asbestos warning tape and visual A board warnings will be placed so that any unexpected guests will be given advance notice not to breach this area whilst we are undertaking the removal of the asbestos.  When removed, all the asbestos sheets will be carefully wrapped in specified polythene sheets and securely sealed.  These will be placed in our specially converted vans which have an airtight compartment for asbestos.  When the fitting teams have reinstalled your roof and all other work is complete, they will then finally hoover your garage to remove any asbestos traces using a H type vacuum which is specifically for asbestos removal.
